Katie Wiens earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota, where she investigated the cellular mechanisms underlying learning and memory. After completing her Ph.D, Katie pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where she studied heart regeneration and vascular development in zebrafish. Katie is currently an Associate Professor at Bay Path University where she teaches a wide range of neuroscience courses. Her current research focuses on social choice behaviors in zebrafish.
