The MCA, the Management Consultancies Association, announced today that Achieve Breakthrough has been shortlisted in the People category of its 2019 MCA Awards. This recognises the phenomenal work our team has delivered with EDF Energy; transforming talent in their Customers division to successfully adopt a radical new strategic vision and operating model. Using people development to shape the right cultural environment to enable success and embed a breakthrough leadership mindset at all levels across the business, from executive to middle management and beyond.

A Simply Better collaboration

Working closely with EDF Energy’s senior executive, HR and Learning and Development (L&D) team’s, we bespoke created a large-scale and revolutionary leadership development programme. One that would demonstrate substantial ROI and be relevant at all levels, from seasoned senior executives to front-line members of the Customers team. Our programme was designed to challenge the status-quo and seismically shift the prevailing mindset and behaviours in the organisation to get greater alignment with EDF Energy’s new strategic vision to be “Simply Better”. Better than anyone else at solving customer’s energy needs. To be the best and most trusted energy brand in the UK. One that does the basics brilliantly and offers great service, then builds on this trust by innovating. Empowering everyone to choose low- carbon electricity through their online and digital platforms and further supporting vulnerable customers.
